South Shore

South shore of Iceland is unique in so many ways, fertile farmland on one side and mountains with beautiful waterfalls on the other. Enjoy the day in one of our luxurious vehicles, learn about history, volcano's and culture while visiting waterfalls, glaciers and volcano's. We have few hidden gems that we don´t advertise but will visit on the way.

Highlights:

Seljalandsfoss
Seljalandsfoss, one of the best-known waterfalls in Iceland. The waterfall drops 60 m (197 ft.) and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the famous volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull. One of the unique features of Seljalandsfoss is the fact you can walk behind it into a small cavern.
Skógafoss, one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 meters (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft.). Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days.
Skógafoss
Reynisfjara
Reynisfjara, magical black sand beach. Features an amazing cliff of regular basalt columns resembling a rocky step pyramid, which is called Hálsanef. Out in the sea are the spectacularly shaped basalt sea stacks Reynisdrangar. The area has a rich birdlife, including puffins, fulmars and guillemots
